Therapy style
In graduate school, I was voted "Most Likely to Provide Clients with Intense Honesty." I find that the most effective way to enact change quickly is to be direct. My honesty is offered with unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, and with your growth and goals in mind.
I don't ask my clients to do things I wouldn't try myself. I know that seeking treatment takes courage, determination, and hope because I have done it. I know that confronting issues with ourselves and our loved ones is hard, because I, too, have done it. This is a process we go through together.

Interests
Outside of work, I like to play! I play on two volleyball teams and a year-round soccer league. In the summer, I enjoy paddle boarding, biking, and floating on inflatables in any body of water. My dog, Trixie, and I walk a couple of miles together each day. On days I'm not playing, I'm doing DIY home projects, working on sewing projects, and baking.
