The diversity of my work experience as well as my own cultural experiences have allowed me to create an environment that is safe and welcoming for my clients to heal and grow.
It can feel scary and intimidating opening up to someone new. As a psychologist, my goal is to assist my clients as they navigate through life’s experiences and to guide them on their growth journey. My approach is integrative and I tend to draw from a variety of theoretical modalities. I work from a primarily Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) orientation. However, I use a variety of different tools and techniques from various modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered approaches, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic techniques. The tools used will depend on what we are talking about in the moment and where you are in your journey.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years in various settings, including multiple medical settings, group practices, and non-profit organizations.
