Therapy style
I am a firm believer that caring for our mental health positively impacts our overall health. I see therapy as a joint venture where our thoughts and life experiences can be processed in a safe, non-judgmental environment to create solutions. Everyone deserves a space to grow, learn (sometimes unlearn), and evolve no matter where they are in life. Being in therapy myself has inspired me to help others on a similar journey. My approach is unique to your situation and is a mix of different theoretical frameworks including relational, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic. I have previously worked with individuals who are battling chronic/acute illnesses, health care professionals, and postgraduate students (including medical school). I also specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
Approaches
