Therapy style

I am a first-generation bilingual Latina therapist of Oaxacan descent. I am passionate about helping others work through current life stressors. I feel blessed to be able to help others in their journey to self-discovery, healing, growth, and fulfillment. I believe in working alongside folks to help them identify internal strengths and develop resiliency. I incorporate tenets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy for Depression, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness while utilizing a trauma-informed lens. I believe in approaching the therapeutic relationship from a place of humility and compassion, above all remaining person-centered. As a previous clinical therapist in a community mental health setting working with folks of all ages and backgrounds, I bring extensive experience to help you achieve your clinical goals. My work has led me to assist folks with working through symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and life stress. I look forward to meeting with you and serving you on your path to empowerment. Gracias.
