Therapy style
My approach to therapy is collaborative and conversational. I listen and provide helpful feedback. I aim to create a safe space where you feel comfortable to discuss challenges you are working through. I am like a member of your team who helps you discover all of your options and provides support by focusing on building on your strengths. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, and so a lot of the work we will be doing focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors with the goal of developing more helpful ways of looking at the situation as well as more helpful behaviors to help you live your best life. I have extensive experience working as a therapist for over eight years in the variety of hospital and clinic settings. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and panic, but I have a wealth of experience in other areas as well including trauma and depression.
