Therapy style
I work with people who often struggle with feelings of anxiety and depression. Do you often feel weighed down, difficulties with sleeping, forgetfulness and feelings of hopelessness? Together, we will work on ways that will allow you to address the root causes of your feelings so that you can be your best self. I am a credentialed clinical therapist who specializes in relationships, major transitions, aging and addiction.
I know that no single approach is the right fit for every individual, and so I have been trained in a range of the following evidenced based practices, which includes: ABA therapy, FFT (Functional Family Therapy), CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
I also have experience with working with individuals, families, adolescence, older adults, and members of the LGBTQ community. My educational background includes a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in addiction from Long Island University Brooklyn Campus.
