Therapy style
I enjoy working with diverse populations and find that I am able to easily build rapport with most who seek out therapy. My overall therapy style is eclectic. I find that people are diverse individuals who need an individualized approach. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy underlies my therapeutic model, I often add Mindfulness as well as Positive Psychology tools. I also find that Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy is also a very successful approach for many people. Oftentimes, people lose sight of their strengths and when exploring together, they find that they have more resources than they realize.
I have spent a lot of time traveling the world and have spent significant time in India as well as the Middle East (Afghanistan). I incorporate Yoga and Breathwork methodologies when appropriate.
