Therapy style
I help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their resilience and inner strengths through my counseling services. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I provide a nurturing space while also providing “Carefrontation,” a compassionate way to challenge negative beliefs that hinder your growth.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing various forms of trauma and PTSD such as separation of families, immigration issues, generational and childhood trauma, racial trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence, etc. I provide services to stressors related to undocumented and mixed legal status families, problems with acculturation, BIPOC issues, discrimination, depression, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, life transitions, etc. She has training and experience facilitating English and Spanish Nurturing Parenting groups, and anger management and co-parenting classes.
