Therapy style

I am here to support you develop life-changing habits to cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide effective tools to help you make practical choices. My mission is to provide the utmost care for you and help you overcome internal struggles that hinder you from living in the present. I am here to support you heal wounds in your life by updating outdated thoughts and befriending symptoms. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and vagus nerve exercises to befriend symptoms. You will learn how to live in the moment, regulate emotions, develop effective ways to cope with stress, and improve relationships with others. EMDR helps create connections between your brain’s memory networks, allowing your brain to heal wounds and increase self-confidence. The sacred privilege of being a therapist is building a relationship. Through the therapeutic process, you will become empowered and recognize the value of self-compassion to overcome the effects of trauma, depression, and anxiety-related concerns. I promote the use of the curious mind as life unfolds in real-time. The goal is to integrate and not eliminate.
