Therapy style
I primarily work from a trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral approach to help clients understand how daily thoughts fundamentally shape their emotions, behavioral patterns, and responses to life’s challenges. I believe in incorporating skills and practice into the therapy process to build distress tolerance, tackle avoidance, and reframe toxic thoughts. My approach starts with developing a personalized treatment plan with my client based on clear, measurable, meaningful goals. While I specialize in working with first responders, I enjoy treating diverse populations and have 15+ years of experience in community mental health.
