Therapy style
I am flexible in my approach as each person may benefit from a different style. However, I'm particularly interested in how the past plays a part in our current day experiences, and how we may free ourselves of unwanted (internal or external) burdens when we can understand their origin. In my work as a registered art therapist, I utilize creative interventions to support my clients in understanding and expressing difficult emotions and discovering deeper aspects of their mental health. Whether your goal is to dive into a specific issue or topic, or if you need general support as you navigate lifestyle adjustments, I aim to guide my clients in building a more authentic connection within themselves and the world around them.
I have found that my style has been helpful for those who are struggling with issues related to self-acceptance, identity & shame, feeling "stuck," as well as general relationship conflicts. I work best with those who are curious and have a desire to learn about the deeper parts of themselves.
