Therapy style
I believe in self-actualization and I am an advocate for personal growth. Learning more about ourselves through the development of insight on our triggers and stressors can help us take our life back, especially when feeling out of control. Throughout my individual work with clients, I take an approach to therapy that is both patient and honest in nature. I like to describe my therapeutic style as empowering, open-minded, and warm. I challenge my clients in a respectful and safe environment, with client-identified goals leading the journey.
I have 7+ years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families with trauma backgrounds along with symptoms of depression and anxiety. I have had the privilege of providing therapy in community settings such as clients' homes and schools, as well as at a re-entry program. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of one's background or how one identifies. I truly enjoy being able to help others develop self-awareness and self-confidence while encouraging them to stay true to themselves.
