Nice to meet you
I have worked with clients recovering from various forms of trauma including immigration, domestic violence, childhood abuse, and strained family relationships. I also work with those experiencing parenting struggling and with individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorder.
I treat each therapy session as an opportunity to learn more about you as the client and to recognize your strengths and resilience. I am client-focused and collaborative and draw on techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I practice from a trauma-focused lens and incorporate mindfulness activities during our sessions. I offer a warm and non-judgmental space for you to identify and explore your feelings and I view myself as your teammate in your healing process.
Together we will establish intentional treatment goals and work towards them as teammates.
