Therapy style
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York with more than 10+ years of experience within the mental health field. I identify as a Latina and also provide services in Spanish. I specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with a strengths based focus and provide services to the adult population.
My focus is making sure I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for my clients. My therapeutic style is warm and interactive with moments of reflective listening. I have been described as supportive, caring, and humorous. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and help you navigate some of these concerns. My hope is that my clients can navigate some of the changes life can bring on while learning positive coping skills that can be used when faced with adversity. "Healing is not becoming the best version of yourself. Healing is letting the worst version of yourself be loved."
