Therapy style
My approach focuses on helping you use awareness so you can feel more in control. It's not uncommon to have periods when our emotions feel overwhelming or our thoughts won't slow down and then we feel stuck. I help people learn strategies to reduce in-the-moment intensity and to become curious about these patterns of feelings and thoughts. Doing this will allow you to understand them more. Oftentimes these patterns are attempts to try and soothe something or help us in some way. By understanding them, we can develop other methods to meet those same needs as you move forward in your journey toward healing.

Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy taking walks to practice identifying birds or plants. Being in nature has always been enjoyable and grounding for me. I also play the Irish tin whistle and jam out with at some of the local sessions to play Irish traditional music.
