Therapy style
I have over 10 years of extensive experience working with individuals, families and couples from ethnically and culturally diverse populations. The individuals that I work with are overcoming various life transitions from mental health issues, interpersonal relationships, career and academic challenges, grief and loss and trauma.
My goal is to empower clients to feel more comfortable exploring their wants and needs while helping them develop tools, skills, and strategies to move towards their desired goals. I utilize a multicultural perspective when helping individuals on their journey to improve both their mental health and mental well-being. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and authentic approach to my sessions. I am passionate about helping others and utilize a collaborative approach to therapy that draws on multiple therapeutic interventions and techniques that are flexible and uniquely tailored to address each clients needs.
I believe that clients are the expert of their own life, and my role is to help them highlight their strengths and help provide support, encouragement, and guidance on their journey so that they can become the best version of themselves.
