Therapy Style

I have 15 years of experience in mental health services as a therapist and coach. I specialize in couples counseling and coaching, crisis intervention, depression/anxiety and self-esteem issues. I work within a holistic approach that includes addressing the whole person, body, mind and spirit. My methods of therapy include mindfulness-based therapy, inner child work, meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with a client-centered, solution-based focus on the diverse needs of the individual. I treat issues including acute crisis intervention, PTSD, trauma, personality disorders, domestic violence, grief and multi-cultural issues. I provide therapy both in English and Farsi.

In 2022, I published the book, _Stop the Bleeding: Your Emotional Rescue_. It offers a step-by-step guide to crisis recovery.
