I feel fortunate every time I meet a client because it is an opportunity to make a difference. I believe every client is unique; therefore, their therapy should be integrative. I take into consideration the client’s presenting concerns, their strengths, and their preferences when developing a plan. I then draw from years of experience in Solution-Focused, Experiential, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered therapies to find the right treatment combination. I specialize in working with minority and LGBTQIA+ populations. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depressive symptoms, relational concerns, domestic violence, and trauma.

I became a mental health professional because I saw a need in my community for Spanish-speaking therapists. Additionally, as I began to build a family, I wanted to equip myself with tools I could use to help my family grow emotionally and mentally healthier.
My interests outside of work include watching my children play sports, practicing curling on the weekends, spending time with family watching TV, and playing with my Husky.
I take care of my mental health by staying active, eating different kinds of food, and practicing at least one grounding exercise a day.
I recharge by finding alone time to do simple tasks like watering plants or sweeping. I find those very soothing.
I have one dog (a husky), one black cat, two Sulcata tortoises, and two snakes. My favorite pet story is bringing the husky home at 8 weeks old and watching my little ones at the time react to her presence.
