I became a mental health therapist because I'm passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges. I truly believe we all need professional support when dealing with challenges that are affecting our mental health and impairing our functioning in our everyday life. I have personally experienced how mental health support allows us to have a better quality of life.
My interests outside of work are spending time with my family, watching reality TV, and eating good food.
I practice gratitude. I identify things that I'm grateful for every night before I go to bed. It allows me to focus more-so on the positives rather than the negatives about my day, and sleep more peacefully.
I recharge by getting adequate sleep and hugging my child.
