My Therapy Style

Life is constantly changing, and sometimes it can be stressful and overwhelming. I value each person's strengths and uniqueness and offer a safe and non-judgmental space to facilitate personal growth and improved emotional well-being. Fostering a professional and secure therapeutic relationship is essential to therapeutic growth and facilitates healing. I believe in meeting clients where they are in their stage of life and empowering them to discover insights and reach their goals. My role is to guide and support you on your journey. I have experience working with adults, couples, older adults, veterans, and first responders.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I wanted to have a positive impact on others who were looking for guidance and understanding as they navigate life.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy nature, camping, hiking, and visiting the beach in the evening. I also love spending time with my family and dogs.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Walking provides so many positive benefits as it nurtures my body, mind, and soul. A good night's sleep helps too.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Hospice organizations are some of the best as they provide comfort and dignity to people at the end of life.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by appreciating nature and my family, reading and exploring new areas.

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs and owned pet birds in the past as well. We adopted one of our dogs from the shelter, and although I was looking for a different type of dog, a spotted Boxer mix caught my attention. She won my heart by the way she wagged her tail and entire behind. She still wags this way when she is very excited. She is the most polite dog ever (except when squirrels are nearby).
