My Therapy Style

Are you feeling stuck and overwhelmed by emotions like sadness, anger, and anxiety? If so, you are in good company because many people carry deep wounds from painful experiences where they learned beliefs about themselves or the world that limit their potential. The good news is we are capable of healing these wounds.

I am a Level 1 Trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist who guides clients through a transformative journey of exploring the complexities of their emotions, behaviors, and underlying beliefs. Through this healing process, we will uncover self-compassion, resilience, and a deep sense of wholeness.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I developed a passion for wanting to help people after suffering through my own mental illness and learning how difficult it can be to get the help we need. Through my own process of change in dealing with crippling depression and anxiety, I found that psychotherapy can be immensely helpful.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love playing video games. I mostly play Dota2 and Overwatch, but I also love dabbling in many other games. My all-time favorite game has to be Final Fantasy 7, I'm a huge fan of most Final Fantasy games.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I meditate daily, sometimes it is quick and sometimes it's a longer process. I do this to connect with my emotions, and to notice if I'm feeling upset, anxious, down, or fatigued. I often learn a lot about myself through this process and it helps me resolve these feelings so I feel better.

How do you recharge?

Gaming with my friends or my wife, spending time with my wife and dog, Kirby.
