Through our time together, we can explore your beliefs, identify some of your goals for therapy, and work towards you feeling more positive. I have over 25 years of professional experience in mental health counseling (outpatient and residential setting) and school counseling. I have experience working with individuals with issues related to school, ADHD, Autism, ODD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, women’s issues, and life transitions. I have always been intrigued how an individual's thoughts, beliefs, and feelings impact their actions and decisions. At an early age, I aspired to help others find their purpose in life and to live a well balance and healthy life.
I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, ballroom and Latin dancing, walking on the beach and looking for shells.
Before getting out of bed, I spend quiet time in prayer and do some light stretching. I participate in some type of physical activity whether it be playing tennis or a barre class. I also connect with my elderly mother by the end of the day through text, phone, or FaceTime.
I take naps to recharge. In the afternoon, I feel like I am fading away and my brain is telling me to take a break.
