My approach to therapy is based on the individual needs of my clients, and most frequently I work with cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, as well as EMDR to affect the change that they are looking for. I find that both of these modalities help clients learn to better understand what motivates behavior that does not serve them.

I decided to become a therapist in high school and focused on completing the well-rounded education that I felt I would need to become the best therapist I could be. Having come from a background where I was not accepted by peers, I learned to utilize resilience and dedication as tools for seeking success as a therapist. I am constantly seeking new knowledge and researching new approaches that I believe will help my clients.
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and attending community events at museums.
I engage in physical activity, mostly walking, or hiking 3 miles daily.
I recharge by listening to Hawaiian music, meditating, chanting, and dancing Hula, oftentimes simultaneously.
