My therapeutic approach and philosophy is holistic and client-centered. I incorporate mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, support, patience, understanding, and a collaborative approach.
I believe in a holistic approach that takes into consideration the whole person—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. I have applied this approach and mindset with my clients, and have been very successful in assisting my clients in their growth and healing.

Before becoming a licensed counselor, I was a middle and high school social studies teacher in New Jersey. Working in an inner-city school system, I found myself more concerned about my student's mental health needs than their educational needs. I found my strengths in listening and empathizing and wanting to help my students learn skills to survive their day to day.
I am a husband, married for 17, with 2 boys ages 11 and 9. I enjoy activities such as basketball, tennis, CrossFit, and art. I enjoy coaching and traveling, and I consider myself a life learner. I am a volunteer basketball and volleyball coach for my boys' elementary school.
I exercise daily, eat well, and pray to keep my mental and emotional well-being.

American Counseling Association. It is the world's largest association for professional counselors. It provides helpful resources, support, education, information, and insight for counselors in various practice settings.
I recharge by exercising, getting rest, and spending quality time with family and friends.
