I believe in the power validation and empowerment have in reducing strong feelings of guilt and shame. By providing a safe and positive space for you to explore your core values and strengths, I strive to support you in creating growth and healing within yourself. My goal is to be a strong support for you by providing therapy through a trauma-informed lens.

My decision to become a therapist was guided by a genuine desire to be a source of comfort and understanding for individuals facing life's challenges. I believe in the transformative power of empathy and the importance of creating a space where others feel seen, heard, and valued. Throughout my experiences, I have witnessed the significant impact that meaningful connections can have on one's well-being, and I am dedicated to fostering such connections in the therapeutic relationships I build.
My pets, my culture, my family, and friendships.
Move my body every hour, go for short walks, and humming (to activate my vagus nerve).
Don Quixote de la Mancha. I appreciate that he is a dreamer.
Border Angels, located in the heart of San Diego. They support asylum seekers seeking services in SD. They give back to my community and provide a safe place where all are welcome.
Zumba class three days a week at my neighborhood YMCA. I can't hold a rhythm but I love that it always makes me smile seeing myself try in the mirrors.
I have two dogs (Lola and Don Quixite, DQ for short) and one cat (Keke). Most recently, my cat Keke found her christmas gift bag under the tree and shredded it. She was able to get all her new toys out.
