My Therapy Style

I believe that your comfort and authenticity are the foundation for our work together. We begin with building a good rapport and direction for our work. It's within this safe space that true growth and self-reflection begin to bloom. Reaching your desired outcome in therapy is important to me. Together, we delve into the depths of your challenges using the Acceptance Commitment Therapy Model. This is done by unveiling your core values and assessing your alignment with them. It's a revelation that many find themselves in, yet it's a journey we can navigate together to realign with your authentic path. Our focus is on reshaping how you perceive and grow from these experiences.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I like to say that I became a therapist because like most, I faced obstacles in my own life. This has made a difference in my work with my clients, because it shares the universal experience of the need for our own mental health to be a priority.

What are your interests outside of work?

I absolutely love to be with my family. They are why I do what I do every day. I love to workout. I practice what I preach. I want my clients to be the best version of themselves, and I do the same.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I meditate and practice breathwork. Letting my nervous system know that we will regulate through the waves is my goal through this practice.

What book have you read more than once?

Set Boundaries, Find Peace By Nedra Glover Tawaab because boundaries are needed everywhere to help shape what is important in your life.

How do you recharge?

I love to read on my Kindle or to spend quality time with my boys. #boymom

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs, who were my children before I had children. They make our family complete.
