Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I like learning about others, and what makes them move and groove and go about the world in their own unique way.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love the ocean, I will swim in it almost any day of the year. I am obsessed with dogs, and I love turning music on instead of tv or sitting outside with a good book.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I exercise daily, either going to my group weight training or walking my dog. It is important for me to get out there and do something active.

What book have you read more than once?

The Alchemist, it's that good.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

I LOVED the non-profit I worked for serving the SPMI population in Santa Barbara called Sanctuary Centers. They taught me about the village it takes to support mental health and led me to being an MFT.

How do you recharge?

A book and the beach.

Do you have any pets?

I do, honestly, I think it is SO FUNNY that one of the most common compliments my black lab gets is: "He has a BIG head."
