Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

My desire to help people navigate ways to improve their mental health is largely connected to my own life experiences. I've come to understand first-hand how reflection and targeted behavior change can positively impact wellness.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy doing anything creative. When I'm not working I often find myself tending to my plants, baking, or experimenting with something artistic.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Spending time playing with my dog and taking her for walks supports my mental and emotional well-being. It helps me to practice being in the present moment. Her playful nature and constant need for attention often lead to lighthearted fun and laughter.

How do you recharge?

Spending time in nature helps me to feel recharged. There's something about breathing in fresh air and connecting with the natural environment that helps create a feeling of renewed energy.
