I offer a compassionate, intelligent, understanding, and non-judgmental presence to support you on your journey.

My Therapy Style

I bring almost a decade of therapeutic experience with children, adolescents, adults, at-risk youth, incarcerated young people, 12-Steppers, and men and women with addiction and other issues to work for you. I offer a compassionate, intelligent, understanding, and non-judgmental presence to support you on your journey. I want to help you find full self-acceptance, and become the whole person you aspire to be. I listen closely, try to see the whole situation from your side, and then give honest, considered, and caring feedback, and offer powerful corrective tools to aid you. I am an advocate for your health and wholeness.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I struggled with many of the issues that I now help others with. I have made great strides in these areas but it is still a work in progress.

What are your interests outside of work?

Reading, hiking, foreign films, gardening, and graphology.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Meditate!

What book have you read more than once?

The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker because of all it teaches about self-trust.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The Dodo because they share my deep and abiding respect for other animals.

How do you recharge?

Meditate, sleep, hike, and connect with friends and family, the two-legged and the four-legged ones.

Do you have any pets?

When my partner's dog and I first met, she treated me with suspicion and would bark at me as if she were Cerberus, the three-headed dog charged with guarding Hades. All of that changed on the day I helped her during a medical emergence on the side of a mountain. Now, she and I are best buddies.
