I often use humor to help you build the skills you need to deal with all of life's challenges. I'm your biggest cheerleader, strive to give you helpful direction, and am ready to validate everything you're feeling. I am also here to call you out when needed. I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is to help you build a life worth living, whatever that means to you!  My work is, first and foremost, trauma-focused; I’m always looking at your experiences and thinking about how they might have affected your ability to move through the world smoothly. My favorite ways to support you are through attachment and psychodynamic/relational lenses. This basically means your experiences and relationships (particularly early ones) play a part in your life as well as in our work. I’m also a fan of mindfulness and self-compassion frameworks because of the gentleness of these approaches (not to mention because they’ve helped me so much, too).

I'm obsessed with true crime podcasts and reality TV and have recently gotten back into reading. I also love finding ways to exercise/move my body in ways that feel supportive (walking, spinning, and weightlifting have been favorites at different times in my life).
