My Therapy Style

You're overwhelmed, overstimulated, or searching for relief, and quite frankly, getting pretty desperate. You logically know you've overcome so much, but where is that strength everyone says you have? Together, we can foster compassion for the coping skills you've used to survive. These strategies deserve acknowledgment and appreciation because they have kept you alive. Through the use of practical tools, introspection, catharsis, and humor we can reshape your approach to both inner and outer relationships and build a new sense of connectedness and security in the world.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

When I was young, I was forced to go to therapy, and it was a terrible experience. I did not click with the practitioners assigned to me and thought therapy couldn’t help me. It wasn’t until I sought therapy on my own as an adult that I finally found the right fit for me, and it changed my life. That is what made me want to become a therapist.

What are your interests outside of work?

Snuggling up with my spouse, our infant, 2 fluffy kitties, and our mini wiener dog.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I look at the sky at least once a day, preferably around sunset, and take a deep breath.
