My Therapy Style

My job as a therapist is to provide you with a safe place, support you through your life transition, and help you make sense of what needs to change. You are the expert in your life story and you have the strength within you to make changes. I will work to provide you with coping tools for lasting change. I use interventions from various modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength Based, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

As a child, I experience a lot of loss and grief and never had an opportunity to process my experiences in a healthy manner. I went into the profession with a desire to be a person that can connect with people and help them be a guide toward healing and growth

What are your interests outside of work?

I love to learn. I love to travel and explore new places. I love to try new foods.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I enjoy spending time alone.

What book have you read more than once?

Charlotte's Web, because I recently read it to my daughter.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Front Street, I am an animal person.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by spending time with myself at home.

Do you have any pets?

I have always had pets in my life, and each one of my pets has always been different. The funny thing with my pets I have never picked them. They have picked me.
