For me, participating in therapy means being captain of your team and taking responsibility for your wellness. Therapy involves hard work, vulnerability, and curiosity which blossoms from a safe space created by both of us. My role as a therapist is to be a team player as you move forward. I will offer compassion, concrete tools, and (sometimes) humor to support you in taking on the captain role. As captain, your job is to practice skills with curiosity and continuously commit to the hard work of being boldly you. That work continues beyond therapy as well. All of you are welcome on the journey forward.

I wanted to provide access to mental health services to marginalized folks (ie. South Asians, QPOC, etc) and reduce stigma of mental health services.
I enjoy spending time in nature, watching kdramas and Bollywood, listening to obscure bands, and spending time with my loved ones.
I connect to my spiritual practices daily.
All About Love by Bell Hooks — it's accessible, understandable, and it dives deeply into the complexities of a core human need: love and belonging.
Trans Lifeline — they provide tons of resources and support to trans/gender nonconforming folks free of cost.
I have one cat who enjoys making cameo appearances during sessions!
