I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of my patients with respect, curiosity, and compassion. During my sixteen-year career as a mental health professional, I have worked in private practice as well as in the public school setting, which together have given me the amazing opportunity to work with and learn from people from different backgrounds, cultures, and communities.
Therapy can be the vehicle for healing the mind, connecting with our core spirit, and achieving personal growth and fulfillment. I would be honored to accompany you along that important, life-changing journey.
BA - Speech Communications, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
MA - Counseling, Montclair State University
I always enjoyed working with children and began my mental health career in 2007 as a School Counselor. From there, I was eager to expand my ability to help others outside of the school setting and so I set my sights on becoming an LPC.
I find that if I take care of my body and mind with any sort of daily exercise, a healthy outlook and a positive attitude will follow.
I love to go on hikes and would never turn down a trip to the beach.
I have a dog and a cat. Watching them interact is always so much fun! They are like an old, married couple!
