I specialize in treating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship roadblocks, and life transitions (e.g. job changes, breakup/divorce, entry into the workforce, relocation, bereavement). In addition to practical tools and techniques, I bring my personal and professional experience to the table. It's important to feel safe and comfortable in therapy and to be ourselves, so while the work can be challenging, we will laugh sometimes, too.

I love to read and I am part of three book groups. I do yoga and HIIT workouts regularly, and love to hike in our local hills when it's not too hot. I love to travel with my family and enjoy local wine tasting.
I pray every day and I drink a TON of water.
I'm an introvert, so I need time alone on a regular basis in order to recharge.
We have three cats and two dogs. Here is my favorite pet story: I had been following a story on a local FB pet rescue site. This black terrier was found living in a local park, happily playing with some kids who were playing soccer. The finder discovered burns along the dog's back and called this local rescue. The rescue picked the dog up and put him in a medical foster. I donated money to support his care and would show my family the photos of the dog as he healed and began to thrive. Some months later, we were looking for a second dog and went to a local adoption event, only to find that very dog — Timmy! He has been part of our family for six years.
