As a therapist, I'm like a cup of coffee: Warm, comforting, and wakes you up! I want to work with you to break free from the confines of unhelpful narratives and patterns. My clients feel more empowered in their actions and relationships instead of letting their emotions run the show or being overrun by unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It’s always a good session when my clients feel challenged and motivated to be more accepting of what they can't change while moving toward their values, even if it's hard. I’m a big believer in “trying on” more helpful ways of being and thinking, so I use a direct and encouraging approach.

I really enjoy connecting with people and bearing witness to their experiences. I know firsthand the value of being able to have a space where you can be yourself and explore all that lies beneath the surface.
One of my favorite things to do is spend time with friends and family, especially if it involves music or good food. I love watching sports just as much as I love a quiet night painting or crocheting.
Walking is one of those simple pleasures that always seems to help me feel more grounded. I try to prioritize sleeping as well.
The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of those sweet comforting books. It's delightfully funny. I love seeing the transformation of the main character as the story progresses.
I love a quiet night in with my family. I also find it really restorative to reset my home and make sure that my surroundings are not causing more chaos!
Yes! I have a dog. He's a big goof.
