My approach during therapy stands on the basis of empathy, normalizing one's feelings, and consistently providing a nonjudgmental environment. I acknowledge the strength, awareness, and courage it takes to seek therapy, and emphasize that individuals have already made an incredible step in the right direction.
I enjoy learning about my client - gathering an understanding of their reasons for seeking therapy, giving space to explore the past and current life events that have shaped them, as well as identify the strengths they already possess that can be applied to learning new skills and new perspectives. I work diligently with my clients to become comfortable and confident using what is discussed in sessions, on their own and outside of sessions!

I became a mental health professional because I truly enjoy providing support and assistance to others. I have always naturally prioritized putting myself in someone else's shoes, and now have the honor of being able to use this quality to genuinely assist others in feeling understood, develop coping skills, and work through the challenges that they are facing.
I enjoy being outside and spending time with family and friends!
