Anxiety, depression and relationship issues can range from restricting to debilitating. Have you found yourself making the same mistakes in your personal and professional life? Are you stuck in an unsatisfying relationship or job, where you feel unable to move forward? Do you have a tendency to keep rehashing past mistakes? Are you feeling depressed and anxious as a result? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then psychotherapy can help you find the answers you seek and the tools you need to promote growth and change in your life because the ability to heal is within each of us.
As your therapist, my initial goal is to make you feel comfortable, validated, and understood. Once we begin our work together, I will use evidenced based strategies in addition to holistic approaches to help you lead a happier, more fulfilling life, that you deserve.
I am a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice since 2013. In my therapeutic work, I integrate the many facets of my professional career which have included positions in the academic as well as clinical sectors. I believe that one of the biggest rewards of being a mental health counselor is being able to have a direct impact on the lives and well-being of clients.
I absolutely love nature and the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, exercising and staying active and fit. I have 2 children, ages 5 and 7, who keep me VERY busy. I enjoy spending time with them playing, crafting and baking. I love dining out and trying new restaurants. Good wine, good food, good friends!
I exercise for 30-45 minutes a day. Everyday.
I love the country. I travel upstate New York with my husband and children and be in a complete state of ZEN. Being upstate facilitates mindfulness and simplicity. Time stops and I soak it in.
