Psychodynamic, Relational, Strengths-based
I am passionate about helping clients who experience depression, anxiety and trauma. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed with feelings of sadness, loneliness, disconnection from loved ones, frustration, or a lack of motivation. I help these clients by providing them with a warm, nonjudgmental space to talk about their feelings. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, meaning that I help clients make connections between what happens in their lives and their innermost beliefs, desires, and wants. I place strong emphasis on having a quality therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual regard. My main goal is to help clients learn how to accept themselves and to practice self-care. My style is collaborative, patient, and kind. I love to help clients break out of negative emotional cycles and move forward with their lives.

I love to make music, whether it's singing or playing the piano. I enjoy going to museums, parks, gardens, and the theater. One of my favorite things to do is to walk around NYC.
Practice deep breathing and letting go.
Getting a change of scenery, whether it's going on a trip by plane or exploring NYC via public transit. Also reading, making music, and pursuing artistic beauty.
I had a cat, Annabelle, who died on 09-12-2022. She came to me when she was 11 after her previous mom passed away. She lived to be almost 22, and I miss her so much. My current roommate has a dog, Cody, and a cat, Abby. Cody is currently "grounded" for waiting until the humans went to bed, and then finding an empty cat food can and spreading it all over the living room.
