What are your interests outside of work?

I am a spoken word performer. I find writing and performing poetry therapeutic and the stage is my healing space. Being involved in the arts ignites and fuels both passion and compassion – these are qualities that are central and support the work I do and help define who I am.

What book have you read more than once?

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I read this book once a year because it helps reminds me about the power of our own minds and intuition. I find that reading this book creates a cognitive "reset" for me which motivates me to self-assess, problem solve and plan my goals mindfully.

How do you recharge?

I love to travel. I try to see another country, island, or state 3 times a year. Going somewhere I have never been and exploring the culture there helps me step outside of myself and learn about how others live and see life.
