I believe therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and client-centered. Change is a process that involves vulnerability, fear, and exploring the current belief system and how those beliefs can affect behaviors and goals. One of my goals in working with clients is to increase their perception of their ability to cope with obstacles and succeed with the desired change.
I have significant experience working with Spanish-speaking clients dealing with cultural and immigration issues.

Girls on the Run of the Bay Area. As a past trained volunteer coach of 3rd to 8th-grade girls, the primary is to build self-esteem, recognize their inner strength and problem-solving skills, and build essential skills to help them navigate the world. The season culminates in a 5k run and a lifelong interest in maintaining physical and emotional well-being.
I enjoy distance running, spin classes, hiking outdoors and traveling.
