My Therapy Style

If you are a trauma survivor struggling with anxiety, depression, or painful re-living of the past, you are not alone. I specialize in helping adults build emotional resilience and take their lives back from their painful past. Therapy can help you heal old wounds, develop helpful coping skills, and find meaning in your life. With a deep understanding of trauma's impact on the mind, body, and spirit, I offer evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs including Polyvagal and Attachment-Informed therapy. Together, we will process your experiences, explore difficult emotions, and get back to living in the present moment.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I wanted to become a mental health professional after my therapist helped me reprocess and get freedom from my trauma.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy a lot of reading. I have been recently leaning into my artistic side and started acrylic painting. I am an amateur guitar player, and I have enjoyed time "jamming" with other people musically.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Journaling and meditation! Both are effective tools for building emotional resilience, and they help get out of your head.

How do you recharge?

I use meditation daily to recharge during a long day. Regularly being fully present in my body helps me stay emotionally healthy.

Do you have any pets?

I have two big dogs and two cats. Animals are a big part of my life! I recently adopted two kittens (brothers) from the pound. We have a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd.
