My professional style is to provide empathic, respectful and quality care, with the goal of alleviating suffering and increasing people's sense of well-being. I put a good deal of care into my work and take my responsibilities seriously. I work to meet individuals where they are at, using more structured, skills based approaches where needed, and weaving in depth work where appropriate with clients that I think would benefit from that style.
While my training is broadly psychodynamic, I use an integrative approach where I strive to employ interventions that are best suited to a particular individual, so that therapy is not “one size fits all”, including DBT and ACT skills.
Anything really, I love food and good company.
I drink a green smoothie every day.
Yoga, body-weight training, reading, and DIY projects.
