Why did you become a mental health professional?

I grew up in a dysfunctional family and I wanted a better understanding of the family systems. I was encouraged to seek mental health counseling while working on my first masters degree, so I would be able to be at my best when helping others.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy going to the movies, hanging with friends, and spending time with my kids.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I listen to music, and laugh with friends.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

A Gift for You, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless. I started this organization in 2019 and I am proud of the work we have done in the community.
