In the 20+ years I've been a therapist, I've come to understand and appreciate the uniqueness of every individual and family. I don't profess to have all the answers, but I'm very good at finding answers. I enjoy getting to know people and finding out what has worked, what hasn't worked, and then focus on finding answers together.
I've treated individuals and families from many walks of life and with many different experiences and problems. My theoretical perspective is based on family-systems and I've worked with many individuals and families suffering from multi-generational trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, etc.
I have experience working with multicultural populations in a variety of clinical settings. I'm Navajo/Dine, I was born/raised on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico, and my clinical experiences have been both on and off of the reservation. I deeply respect the spirit within all of us, and I treasure the connection we share as a key component of the healing process.

I grew up in a place (Navajo reservation in New Mexico) where I saw the effects of generational trauma (substance abuse, all kinds of abuse, etc) and was motivated to learn ways to bring healing, not just to my community/nation, but to anyone I might have the opportunity to work with.
