My therapy sessions tend to be interactive, collaborative, and client-centered, meaning I center your experience and goals. I offer compassionate care while also gently challenging my clients to make necessary changes to better their lives and relationships. My passion is helping people to feel embodied and connected to themselves and others in the world. As I believe the personal is political, my work is always approached through the lens of social justice and anti-oppression frameworks.
As I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy or life in general, my work is tailored to your specific needs. At the core, my work is based in attachment and relationships. The approaches that I use most often are Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also help my clients integrate mindfulness-based practices and skills drawn from CBT and DBT.
I have too many top picks to name! I'll name one of my Bay Area favorites: Sol Food (Puerto Rican) in Marin never disappoints!
Daily meditation and cuddling my smoosh-faced dogs are both essential in helping me to cultivate and maintain balance and resilience.
Dance, competitive punning, meditation, spiritual growth, food, travel, and everything related to my dogs.
