Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Cognitive processing therapy (CPT), Gottman method couples therapy, Solution-focused
My therapy style is friendly and collaborative. I enjoy using humor while still treating my clients with respect, sensitivity, and kindness. My approach to counseling combines solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Most importantly, I want to tailor our conversations and your treatment to you and your specific needs.

My interests include science fiction and action movies and television shows, pumpkin-flavored anything, and baking.
My recharge routine depends on how much time I have. If I have a few hours, I like to enjoy a bath and watch television or listen to a podcast, and if I only have a few minutes between sessions, I will do some deep breathing exercises.
My favorite non-profit is called Jumpstart. It is an early childhood education non-profit that pairs college students with preschool classrooms in low-income communities to improve the children's reading and comprehension skills through play. It is an amazing year-long experience for everyone involved. The college students receive an AmeriCorps grant toward their education and the children make important gains in their learning.
I have two cats, Apollo and Chief, named after characters from Battlestar Galactica. Chief enjoys watching children play and will sit on the balcony overlooking a local playground where he can watch the children play. They like to see him watching them and wave to him whenever they see him.
