From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to help people as it made me feel fulfilled and validated. I began volunteering as a victim advocate at the age of 18 and then began to pursue by dream of becoming a counselor.
I enjoy working out, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with my family.
I try to work out every day. Whether it be running, walking, or lifting weights, I love the strength and empowerment I feel from a great workout.
I love Kidd's Kids. It's an amazing non-profit that provides children with terminal illnesses the opportunity to go to Disney World with their families. It's such a great organization and so positive and upbeat. They have great views on mental health and are always supporting and encouraging people to take care of their mental well-being.
Usually by spending time with my family. Sometimes its through a great workout too.
I have a lab/blue lacey mix. Her name is Sami and we adopted her from a shelter. We knew we had to have her the minute we met her. She and my 4 year old daughter were inseparable from their first moment together.
