What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy courses in meditation and personal growth.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I meditate and journal daily and try to get outside daily with some form of exercise.

What book have you read more than once?

The one that comes to the top of my head is that I've done the daily readings through the Bible more than once although I don't consider Christianity itself to be a strong part of my identity.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

I enjoy ACLU because they have been committed to taking on injustice and have been able to make a significant impact on society.

How do you recharge?

I enjoy time to myself and getting massages. I also enjoy time with my husband and with friends, laughing and goofing off with no agenda.

Do you have any pets?

I have a 3-year-old cat named Bella. She is a miracle cat because she has survived an owl attack and being run over by a truck. She has a funny personality and keeps myself and my husband laughing at her antics and her varied types of interactions with us.
