Therapy Style

I am collaborative, warm, and empathic. I tailor treatment based on the challenges a client is facing as well as their goals. For those facing anxiety or trauma, I often help them face their fears in a systematic manner. Therapy can also entail helping clients learn to challenge stuck points and unhelpful thoughts. For those facing insomnia, I use techniques to help increase sleep efficiency. My aim is to help clients live a life that is fuller and more in line with their values. I am passionate about helping those who have been marginalized due to ethnicity, gender identity/expression, sexual identity, and other identity factors.

Modality & Approach

I work with clients to create treatment goals and find the right therapy for them. The types of therapy I use most often are Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety and Insomnia, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a mindfulness-based therapy).

What is your favorite restaurant in San Francisco?

I need to do more exploring before I find a favorite. I’m a fan of dumpling and Szechwan restaurants.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

Meditate daily.
